Our Drink Tasmania Signature full-day tour takes you to 6 of southern Tasmania’s best craft beverage experiences in the Huon and The Coal River Valley, plus a number of special stops.

During vintage, you see grapes being processed and wines being fermented in the wineries, and throughout the year you see the grapes growing in the vineyard and the wines maturing in barrel rooms.
You may even be lucky enough to try wine direct from the tanks or even from the barrels, depending on the time of the year and what the winemaker is working on that day. Expect a day packed full of wine tasting, tours, conversations, and even some local cheeses thrown in for good measure.
Hobart Wine Tour Itinerary
After meeting your guide on the ramp at Brooke Street Pier, we begin the day with a complimentary tea/coffee from one of Hobart’s finest barista’s at Bright Eyes over introductions. We discuss Hobart’s infamous history dating back to 1803 and the role that alcohol played during settlement before departing for our first stop.
Thursday: Moorilla Estate / Domaine Dawnelle / Wicked Cheese Co / Coal Valley Vineyard / Domaine A / Pressing Matters.
Friday: Moorilla Estate / Stefano Lubiana / Derwent Estate / Cool Wine, Hobart / Pooley Wines / Nocton Vineyard / Pressing Matters.
Saturday: Moorilla Estate / Stefano Lubiana / Wicked Cheese Co / Coal Valley Vineyard / Pooley Wines / Glaetzer Dixon.
The tour concludes back in Hobart at the Hobart Brewing Company where you have the opportunity to join any after tour drinks with the team and hear about the best places to dine and drink in Southern Tasmania.
Please note, while this is our usual itinerary, the venues may change slightly due to industry operations, in which case we may visit equally enjoyable wineries, depending on availabilities. Visits to Home Hill can be arranged for Private Tours or as part of our Signature Tours. Start times are fixed, however end of tour times can change slightly depending upon traffic and other factors.

- Where to meet?
Brooke St Pier, Franklin Wharf, Hobart, 9am. You will meet your guide on the ramp outside, if raining the meeting place is inside the glass doors.
- End of tour?
Approximately 5:30pm at Hobart Brewing Company, 15 Evans St, Hobart (5 min walk from Brooke Street Pier).

Maximum 11 guests per tour (contact us for information on larger groups). Minimum 4 guests.
- What to bring?
Please dress appropriately for the occasion, while it may appear warm in Hobart, the weather can change throughout the day, so please ensure to bring warm clothes, comfortable shoes and your camera!
